The largest partnership in Fluro's history is now live.
We're proud to announce that Fluro is rolling out across Funlab's national Australian network - covering every brand in the group and spanning the country's biggest competitive socialising portfolio. The deal was signed in November 2025 and the rollout has been progressing across venues since.
About Funlab
Funlab has been creating competitive socialising experiences since 2001. The group operates six brands across its Australian network:
- Strike - bowling and entertainment
- Holey Moley - mini golf and bars
- Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq - arcades, bowling and bumper cars
- Hijinx Hotel - escape rooms and challenge experiences
- B.Lucky & Sons - arcades and cocktails
- La Di Darts - augmented darts
Globally, Funlab operates more than 80 venues across Australia, New Zealand and the United States, employing 2,500+ staff. The group is B Corp certified, recognising its commitment to operating with purpose and positive impact.
Funlab has also been recognised by the Australian Financial Review as the #6 Best Place to Work in Retail, Hospitality and Entertainment (2023) and the #3 Most Innovative Company in the same category (2022).
Why the Partnership Works
Funlab's venues are phone-heavy by design. Bowling alleys where patrons film strikes. Mini golf courses where every hole is a photo moment. Arcades where high scores get shared to social media. Escape rooms where teams need their phones for the end-of-game group shot.
That phone dependency makes battery life directly relevant to the customer experience. A patron whose phone dies halfway through a Holey Moley round doesn't just lose the photos - they cut the visit short. Multiplied across an entire national network, that's a meaningful gap in the experience.
Fluro fills that gap. Patrons grab a power bank when they arrive, charge throughout their session, and return when they leave. No app, no account, no asking staff. The interaction takes seconds.
Shared Values
Funlab is B Corp certified. They've spent more than two decades building venues that prioritise their staff, their patrons, and the communities they operate in. Our partnership reflects the same standards.
Fluro is Australian-owned and operated. Our model is built around zero-cost installation, full-service operation, and revenue share with venue partners. Like Funlab, we believe great hospitality is built on doing the small things well, every day, at every venue.
The Scale
This is the largest single partnership in Fluro's history. The rollout covers Funlab's full Australian portfolio - every Strike, Holey Moley, Archie Brothers, Hijinx Hotel, B.Lucky & Sons and La Di Darts site - and represents a step change in Fluro's national footprint.
Stations are already live across high-volume metropolitan venues, with the remainder of the rollout progressing through the year. The partnership also opens the door to Funlab's international footprint - including Holey Moley and Archie Brothers in New Zealand and Holey Moley in the United States - as future expansion opportunities.
What Patrons Experience
Tap, charge, keep playing.
The QR code on the station opens a browser-based rental flow - no app download, no account creation. Pay with Apple Pay or card and the power bank is yours.
If your phone is already dead, the tap-and-go feature handles that too. Use a physical bank card on the station and walk away with a charge. Return at any Fluro station - back at the same venue, in another city, or anywhere across our 1,000+ station network in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
What's Next
The Funlab partnership joins a growing list of major hospitality and entertainment partners - Black Rhino Group, Riverland Group, Royal Saxon, and now Funlab. Together, these partnerships confirm Fluro's position as Australia's leading phone charging network for hospitality and competitive socialising venues.
For Funlab patrons across the country - the station is there. Use it freely.
