Fluro Group provides a network of power bank charging stations and related hardware, software, servicing and support. Our operations include product design and specification, procurement of charging stations and power banks, installation and maintenance services, and customer support.
We operate primarily in Australia and Indonesia (Bali), and engage suppliers and contractors in areas such as manufacturing, assembly, electronics components, freight and logistics, warehousing, installation services, and marketing.
Fluro’s supply chains may include:
Manufacturing and assembly: charging stations, power banks, cables, screens and related electronics (commonly produced in Asia).
Components and materials: batteries, plastics, metals, PCBs, displays, packaging and accessories.
Logistics: freight forwarding, customs, shipping, local transport and warehousing.
Services: contractors for installation, maintenance, cleaning, and business support services.
We recognise that modern slavery risks can be elevated in parts of the electronics manufacturing sector, battery supply chains, and logistics, particularly where labour is outsourced, where recruitment practices are opaque, or where there is limited visibility beyond tier-one suppliers.
Fluro considers the following modern slavery risk areas most relevant to our business:
Electronics and battery supply chains: potential risks of forced labour, debt bondage, excessive overtime, underpayment, or unsafe working conditions.
Subcontracted labour: installation or maintenance work performed by contractors may create risks where labour hire or recruitment practices are used.
Logistics and warehousing: potential risks in transport and warehousing networks, particularly where subcontracting is common.
Migrant and low-wage labour: higher vulnerability to exploitation in certain jurisdictions and industries.
We do not tolerate modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains.
During the reporting period, Fluro took the following steps (or is implementing these steps) to assess and address modern slavery risks:
Supplier and procurement controlsIntroduced a Supplier Code of Conduct outlining expectations on labour standards, wages, working hours, freedom of movement, and the prohibition of forced and child labour.
Added modern slavery clauses to supplier and contractor agreements where appropriate.
Prioritised due diligence for higher-risk categories (e.g., manufacturing, batteries, logistics).Due diligence and screening
Requested key suppliers to confirm:
The location of manufacturing sites,
Whether any labour hire or recruitment agents are used,
Relevant certifications or audit frameworks (where available),
their policies and processes for identifying and addressing labour risks.
Implemented a risk-based approach to supplier onboarding, including basic sanctions and reputation screening where relevant.
Internal awareness
Provided internal guidance for staff involved in procurement and operations to identify risk indicators (e.g., unusually low pricing, opaque subcontracting, reluctance to disclose factories, worker accommodation practices).
Reporting and escalation
Established an internal escalation pathway for concerns, including the ability to suspend or terminate supplier relationships where credible modern slavery concerns are identified and not remediated.
Fluro monitors effectiveness through:
tracking supplier compliance confirmations and completion of onboarding checks,
reviewing and updating supplier contracts and codes annually,
monitoring incidents, concerns or complaints raised (including anonymous reports where available),
periodic reassessment of high-risk supply categories and suppliers.
Over time, we aim to improve visibility beyond tier-one suppliers and strengthen documentation and evidence (such as third-party audit reports where feasible).
This Statement was prepared with input from relevant personnel responsible for procurement, operations, and management across Fluro Group. (If you have controlled entities, note consultation between entities here.)
Fluro encourages employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to raise concerns about suspected modern slavery or unethical labour practices. Concerns can be reported confidentially via email at support@flurogroup.com.
Reports will be assessed promptly and handled sensitively. Where issues are identified, Fluro will work to support appropriate remediation, which may include corrective actions with suppliers and, where necessary, termination of relationships.
