Sometimes the Bali mobile network is unstable (for both the station and your phone). If the deposit/pre-authorisation was taken but no power bank dispensed, the charge is automatically reversed - you should receive the refund within up to 7 days (usually within 24 hours), depending on your bank.
A pre-authorisation is a temporary holding deposit placed on the customer’s card or QRIS account when they start a hire. It verifies sufficient funds and protects the venue and Fluro if the power bank isn’t returned.
When the battery is returned, the hire fee is deducted and the remaining balance is released. If it isn’t returned, the full amount is retained.
Fluro accepts major card networks including Visa, Mastercard and JCB, across both debit and credit cards. Payments are supported from 66 countries - from nearby regions like Malaysia to as far as Ireland.
Due to local regulations, most banks are unable to provide pre-authorisation on debit transactions. Whilst some banks can, we recommend utilising another payment process such as QRIS or Credit.
As stated on the station, the hire fee is charged per hour. If you’ve had the battery for more than an hour, it will tick over into the next hourly period.

When a patron hires a power bank, a Rp 300,000 pre-authorisation is held on their bank card as collateral. If it’s not returned within 24 hours, the Rp 300,000 is charged and they can keep the power bank indefinitely. The battery can still be recharged from any USB-C cable, so it remains fully functional even if it’s not returned to a Fluro station.
Yes. Fluro gives you a 5-min free window. If you reinsert the battery within that time, you’ll receive your full deposit back. The refund time can take up to 7 days, with some banks within 24 hours.
